The Chairman’s Corner:

“Secure Life, Secure Liberty and Promote INTEGRITY”

If you noticed in our motto above, the word Integrity is capitalized. That is intentional. In the Constitution Party of Florida, we stress to every candidate that integrity is not just a suggestion. It is a foundational requirement. It must be evident not only during the campaign but throughout their time in public service. Unfortunately, this quality is often missing from the dominant political parties. The problem is not limited to Tallahassee. It extends down to county commissions and city councils across the state.

Too often, legislation passed by the state legislature is followed by reports of undisclosed arrangements or questionable deals used to gain approval from the governor. Investigations have shown that these agreements sometimes benefit lawmakers or their close associates, leaving everyday Floridians without fair representation.

The Constitution Party of Florida makes a simple and firm promise. We will not support legislation from any political party unless it serves the people of Florida as a whole. We will also oppose the misuse of public funds to benefit political allies or suppress fair competition. No business, regardless of size or background, should be excluded from opportunity through favoritism or government interference. We stand for equal treatment under the law and a level playing field in the free market.

Many voters have been led to believe that a minor party cannot win or make meaningful progress. That belief is based on a false narrative. The Republican and Democrat parties both began as minor movements. Today, they use fear and control to limit competition and preserve their hold on power. In Florida, we have seen how elected officials continue to ignore the concerns of citizens while pushing forward their own political agendas.

When was the last time either major party truly listened to you or supported a practical solution that put the people first?

I personally wrote to Governor DeSantis to express concern over his veto of legislation that would have repealed Florida’s so-called “Free Kill Law.” This law limits compensation in medical malpractice cases and denies justice to many Floridians, especially the most vulnerable. I also raised questions about the decision to block funding for the Santa Rosa Veterans Treatment Court. The requested amount, $150,000, was a modest investment compared to the overall state budget. Other similar courts receive support, so why not this one? Our veterans have sacrificed to uphold the Constitution. They deserve better than to be overlooked by their own government.

The Constitution Party of Florida stands with everyday people. We are deeply concerned about retirees on fixed incomes who struggle with rent, and we recognize that homelessness affects seniors as well as younger Floridians. We see how local and state governments continue to approve developments that destroy natural land in the pursuit of profit, with little regard for long-term consequences.

These issues require more than promises. They require leadership that is committed to constitutional values and moral responsibility.

So what can you do to help?

If you have not already, visit your county Supervisor of Elections website and update your voter registration. In the field that asks for your party preference, enter CPF for Constitution Party of Florida, and save your changes.

Proverbs 26:27 “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.”

Jeffrey Epstein, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Bill Clinton, Jill Biden, etc… the American people cry for justice to be served. Victimization, betrayal, fraud, sexual immorality: why do human beings care so much when “wrong” is committed in the world? Why is it that when a crocodile eats a man we call it instinct and natural, whereas when a man murders another man we call it evil and immoral? The given contrast may sound obvious, but given that generations of Americans have been indoctrinated to believe that everything just evolved from stardust, morality is subjective and relative, right? Wrong! Having been created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27) and endowed with a conscience, humans are distinct and above the rest of creation on earth. Therefore, morality is objective and absolute because truth is objective and absolute. All truth is God’s truth.

Ever notice how “bad” news gets more public attention and emotional reaction than “good” news? Or if something “bad” somehow doesn’t get the news coverage one might expect, someone then asks, “Where’s the outrage!?” It is because everything that is “bad” is contrary to our original design and the whole of creation groans in pain (Rom. 8:22). Before sin entered the world, everything God created in the beginning was “very good” (Gen. 1:31) while innocence, holiness and uprightness embodied our first parents (Gen. 2:25; Ecc. 7:29). Even though we live in a fallen world, God sent His Son into the world (Jesus of Nazareth) to live a life of true holiness and perfection, in order that His death on the cross would be efficacious to all who repent of their sins and put their whole trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior. The first Adam failed, the second Adam (Jesus Christ) prevailed!

Unless he repented of his sins and placed his faith in Christ alone, Jefferey Epstein is currently experiencing the eternal “weeping and gnashing of teeth” that Jesus mentions for all who die in their sins (Matt. 8:12; 13:42; 13:50). What about the rest of those for whom Americans cry for justice to be served? Pray for their salvation but also for the justice system to properly carry out its duties in a righteous manner. We must know that whatever happens in the end, God does what is right. On a personal level, however, let not the evils committed by prominent figures make you blind to your daily need of repentance (cf. Lk. 13:3; 1 Jn. 1:9; Rev. 2:5).

Greetings to all members!

This year marks the 249th birthday of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Independence… often a fantasy of those who are oppressed through tyranny. We were. We got tired of it. We fought the military superpower of that era, the British, and won! Independence has such a pleasant ring to it, but often, it comes with a price.

This event put us on a path of establishing greatness in the world. This was not solely focused militarily, but economically through capitalism. We established a representative government the world at that time had never seen before. Everyone else lived under a monarch or a dictator. The world did not give us much of a chance to survive. Our style of government became known as The Great American Experiment.

Well, it apparently worked, but we paid that price in blood to safeguard our way of life. We fought in a lot of wars, often to eradicate humanity of evil forces. We were on vigilant alert during the Cold War to prevent the spread of communism. But the loss of life was insurmountable. Let us not consider our loss as if it were in vain. Europe was not absorbed under Nazism, and the Japanese empire was stopped cold. Terrorism is the new threat that warrants continued vigilance to protect our citizens.

When you celebrate the Fourth of July with cookouts and fireworks, please remember that our forefathers placed their faith in God and their goal of freedom so they could give it to us as a lasting gift of freedom.

The Chaplain’s Chatter:

“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” – Jeremiah 29:7

Should Christians be involved in politics? Without getting into a specific view of the end times, the answer is a resounding “Yes!” At a minimum, Christians are to pray for their leaders and nation so “that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way” (1 Tim. 2:1-3). In our noted scripture of Jeremiah 29:7, God sent a message through the prophet Jeremiah to the “surviving elders of the exiles, and to the priests, the prophets, and all the people, whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon” (Jer. 29:1). God commanded His people to hope and work for Babylon’s success, “for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” Considering the USA, have you prayed and worked for our country’s success? What is success, exactly? Politically speaking, it is leadership, legislation and policy that honors God and His Word.

Current American politics have been all over the place and the noise doesn’t seem to end. It is tempting to get involved to some extent, whether it be through social media influence, lobbying out in the public square, or even running for office. The problem, however, is not getting involved, but getting buried in it. The Bible reminds us, “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (Col. 3:2). When we keep Christ at the center of our thinking, we can think more clearly and properly about political issues at hand, thereby prayerfully knowing how one should get involved.

The Hebrew word for “welfare” in Jeremiah 29:7 is “shalom”, which refers to all aspects of peace and provision. In their personal lives, Christians find their true peace and provision in the person and work of Jesus Christ alone. Before engaging in politics, do you pray to be salt and light (Matt. 5:13-14) to those whom you interact with? In your conversations, is it your aim to simply “be right” or are you seeking the “welfare” of your fellow citizens? Do you honor Jesus Christ in your heart as holy before giving a defense for your position (cf. 1 Pet. 3:15)?

Christians seek the welfare of America, though one question remains: Whose kingdom are YOU trying to build?

Secretarial Scribblings

It has been a couple of months since our last outreach. I will cover recent happenings in brief.

First, we held our 2025 State Convention in February and it was a success. The convention participants adopted a revised Party Constitution and bylaws. The new document was recommended by the rules committee and cleans up a lot of ambiguous language, adds processes for actions required by State Statute, and defines the convention membership for future meetings. The adopted bylaws are available on the Party website here (BYLAWS).

Next, our website in general has been updated with basic information such as our platform, mission statement, key issues, and more. A page has been built out to make it easy for interested folks to find the CPF in their county. You can find that here (COUNTIES). Selecting an organized county and clicking “get involved” will open an email to our contact or county chair in that area. If we do not have someone, that email will be directed to the State Chairman.

Since I am talking about emails, I just want to mention that if you are interested in carrying the torch for your county, we do have resources for you. County email, county website, and access to the online database to help you with member outreach in your area. These tools have been developed by me exclusively for Party use.

Last, there is a new post on our Party website. It is an open letter from our Chairman to Governor DeSantis. If you would like to check that out, you can read it here (POST).

Did you know?

While we celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, the real vote for independence took place on July 2nd, 1776, when the Continental Congress officially declared the thirteen colonies free from British rule. John Adams even predicted July 2nd would be remembered as the great anniversary day and marked with parades, games, and fireworks. The reason we celebrate on July 4th instead is because that is the date the final wording of the Declaration of Independence was approved and the document was sent to the printer. Most delegates did not sign it until August. Still, the true decision to separate from Britain was made on July 2nd. It is a small but important detail that reminds us how history is often shaped as much by paperwork and timing as by the bold decisions that change the world.

The Chairman’s Corner: State of the Party 2025

Good day to everyone! I thank you for taking the time to come to the 2025 Constitution Party of Florida Convention of 2025. We on the State Executive Committee are excited about the direction the party is taking and the goals we have set to achieve.

During 2024, we started to see county development under former Chairman Mary-Lee Scott. Mary-Lee resigned in September 2024 and had to move back to Ohio due to he husband’s prevailing health. I, as Vice-Chairman, assumed the duties of the State Chairman per our Bylaws.

Since September 2024, we have learned that the membership of our party is approximately 20,000 members. We are proud to hear about this number, but, are concerned that 17,000 failed to give their email addresses. This causes difficulty in getting information out to them. Were we to have to do a direct mailing that would cost us $12,410. Needless to say, this is way out of our budget to implement.

We are actively working at organizing our counties into County parties. Currently, we have Coordinators/Chairmen in 12 counties and are adding more. Eventually, we hope to have all 67 counties organized. The purpose of this is to give the party positive exposure within the county and recruit and develop potential candidates for county political positions. There is a definite need for us to be placed on school boards, county commissioner’s boards, sheriffs, city aldermen and mayor positions. We can bring the needed integrity and common sense so sorely needed at this level.

Our goal is to become a formidable political force here in Florida. We need your help to achieve this. We need you to talk to your family members, friends and neighbors about joining the Party. Growing an organization not only takes people it takes funds. Since we don’t charge dues, we are asking you to consider making a donation to the party. We do have some standing bills we pay monthly but, the majority of any money will go towards funding the various projects I have stated. We do not pay any salaries. As we enter a new year, we are focusing on establishing county parties with the emphasis of developing and training those who desire to run for county offices. Our principles come from the same bedrock foundation laid out by our Founding Fathers in the U,S, Constitution. Unfortunately, there are groups working to dilute these principles and submerge us into full blown socialism/communism. We in the Constitution Party must stand the line for that sacred document, the United States Constitution.

On February 15, 2025 we will be holding our State Convention. It will be conducted by way of Zoom. Login information will be sent out prior to the Convention.

Greetings to all!

Well, it’s that time of year. Putting up the Christmas tree, planning Christmas dinner, secretly wrapping and hiding the kid’s presents, and enjoying a hot cup of cocoa if it gets cold enough.

While this a time of festivities and wishing all we come into contact with a “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”, let’s not forget those whose Christmas will once again be lonely and forgotten about. I speak for our service men and women serving our country, far away from their loved ones during this time of the year. At one time, I was one of these serving in a faraway land, missing out on the joys of Christmas with my family. But even closer to home, let’s not forget about the homeless. They have no real joy because Christmas is just another day. Often, they look for food. If someone provided a meal in a box or a bag, I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated. It could be a turkey or ham sandwich, chips, a piece of cake a bottle of water, and anything else one could think of.

The work of the Constitution Party of Florida goes on. We are actively creating new county parties and will be giving training to our candidates on running for election. We want to make a difference at the local level that transcends into the state and federal level. We are looking for members who will step up and assume a leadership role in their county.

As any other organization, we rely on donations to operate. None of the funds are used for salaries. We are a volunteer organization, giving up our time and talents to help out the communities we live in.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

This year has been a whirlwind for the party. The Executive Committee is comprised of all new faces, with the exception of our chaplain, whose knowledge and experience we are grateful to still have at our disposal. We owe a great deal of thanks to our previous chairwoman, Mary-Lee, for laying a strong foundation for the current committee and to our current chairman, Mark, for continuing to lead us forward.

In early spring, we held a Presidential Nominating Convention, during which our state nominated Randall Terry and Pastor Steven Borden as our candidates for President and Vice President, respectively. A few weeks later, they were officially confirmed as our candidates at the national convention. Additionally, we successfully assembled a slate of 30 electors for the Electoral College and secured our presidential candidates’ placement on the ballot.

This year, we launched a new website with a new domain. Although it is still under construction, you can visit our site here. Be sure to bookmark it! We also established a convenient way for you to contribute to the CPF using Donorbox. You can make a contribution at this link.

Thanks to a small group of recurring contributors, the party has just enough funds to cover our web hosting and this newsletter. However, we aspire to do more. We have several initiatives we would love to pursue, such as hosting events, attending trade shows, participating in county and state fairs, and supporting candidates running for local office under the CPF banner. These efforts, of course, require additional funding.

Chaplain’s Memo

Calling Evil Good & Good Evil

Isa. 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Today throughout the nation we now have officials calling evil good and pushing all kinds of evil agendas, gun control, abortion, open borders, judges letting criminals go free as good, unconstitutional laws being called good, now free speech is evil, parental control of children is evil, tranny story hour with perverts teaching children calling this good and so much more.

We must stand for righteousness and resist evil. God’s Word says: Deut. 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Pro. 6:17 hands that shed innocent blood are an abomination to God and those who do such things including the nation will come under God’s judgment as we are now experiencing.

II Cor. 6:17, 18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, The call of the hour is REPENT and turn from your sins, read I John 1:9
